You have travelled a lot, how has this has influenced you creatively?
Every place I have travelled has influenced me in different ways.
For example, South East Asia makes me realise what I don’t need in life. It’s so easy to get caught up in technology, but sometimes its nice to live slowly.
LA definitely influenced the healthy side of me – from their food to their healthy mindset, it’s truly inspiring.
New York has my heart in the sense of art and culture. I could definitely live there and hopefully one day I will. There is a buzz – the people, the fashion it’s electric and it’s impossible not to be inspired. Another place that has influenced me culturally is Berlin. As soon as I landed it felt like home.
Any hidden gems you would like to share with us?
What I loved about NYC there was always a new bar or a new show to go and see. My list is extensive, but my hidden gems would definitely be:
Manhattanville Coffee (167 Rogers Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11216, USA)
Hinterland bar (739 Church Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11218, USA)
Sweatshop (232 Metropolitan Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211, USA)
Brooklyn and Williamsburg are my favourite places!
